The Waves Car Wash at Tesco St. Leonards is under new management, so I thought I’d give it a try. I’m rather fussy and have always cleaned my own cars, but what attracted me is that they use Autoglym products, known throughout the motor trade for quality and reliability. I was very impressed with the service, my vehicle was ready for collection within 30 minutes, having been hand-washed, dried and polished. The staff are friendly and professional, and take pride in doing a good job. All the door shuts including the tailgate were cleaned, the carpets vacuumed and all the glass was cleaned inside and out so well that it was difficult to tell if the windows were open or shut. The wheels sparkled and the tyre walls looked like new. Three weeks later the car still looks sparkly clean, despite the recent rain. To summarise, the car was finished to a far higher standard than I could achieve without a lot of effort and expense buying the Autoglym products.
