Beware of Marriott salespeople

Beware of Marriott salespeople, and sales arguments - And no longer rely on customer service becoming poor quality. I want to tell you what happened to me, the bad behavior of Owner Service, and the lack of correct information from the sales people at the Marbella Beach Resort. Since 2007 I have owned Marriott Vacation Club, up to date with my weeks payments. For years on the occasion of my holidays in the resorts I have been invited to sales meetings, especially in Marbella. This year, on May 10, unfortunately I fell for it; they sold me a third week using as a selling point the fact that I would reach Executive level, with the option to book my weeks with a 13 month window. I repeatedly asked for confirmation of this fact, as it was the only thing I wanted to achieve with the new purchase. Both the seller and the sales office manager assured me that upon reaching Executive level I would be able to book my week with a 13-month window. On June 12, my profile became Executive on the site. To my surprise, I saw that it was not possible to book with a 13-month window from the site, which was not specified to me at the time of the sale. I contacted the sales office in Marbella, which confirmed my contract right, advising me to contact Owner Service and sending an email on my behalf to solicit a contact. Not having a landline, I sent an email asking to be contacted. Until the 16th no one called me, until, at the request of the same seller, I was contacted by a consultant, who told me that I could not book with a 13-month window, that she would ask other colleagues and that she would call me back. Since then, no one has contacted me. I sent several emails, I entered the contact request on the site, but no one called. Today, when the 12-month window opened, the site was out of order. After an hour and 15 minutes on the phone on a toll number, I spoke to a consultant who booked me for the week. So I have to conclude that my May purchase did nothing. I spent a lot of money, took on a new annuity and didn't change anything in the booking method. I am disappointed and furious with Marriott, and I feel betrayed in the trust I placed in the company and in the sellers, who obey business logic just like all the sellers in the world, with no respect for customers and for the brand. I hope my experience will be useful to someone.
