Crew Attitude …
I have just boarded the Royal Princess for a 14 night cruise to Alaska and oh dear I do hope the poor crew attitude I have encountered so far is not a taste of things to come. I arrived at my cabin at 14.45 - apparently 15 mins early although I had not been informed that the cabin would not be ready until 15.00. I was greeted by 3 cabin Stewart’s who were rude and informed me to leave my bag and come back later, in a very rude manner. On return the cabin bed had not been configured as requested and there was not a cabin Stewart to be found, therefore I called reception and asked for it to be rectified. I had to ask the receptionist to repeat their answer several times due to their heavy accent- all they did was sigh and moan. Whilst I understand change over day is difficult for all the crew, there is no need to be so indifferent and rude to a paying guest. I am expected to pay a service charge for these attitudes, I can only hope it gets better.
