We are rented in a property from Carolina Cabin Rentals in the Boone area, we were lucky enough to get 5-6 inches of snow on Christmas Eve, that created a series of problems to our cabin that left us with out running water for 2 days now. We’re a family of 8; contacted the owner of the cabin and the rental company “CCR” they’re trying to get a plumber for two days now. ALL of us are getting frustrated because of the vacation is turning out to be the vacation from HELL and the worth is that we rented for a week... we got together and poured salt on the driveway to be able to get the car out now we can’t get the car back up because ice and a neighbor is complaining because we can’t have the car in the entrance of the driveway. We’re not happy with the handling of our water problem; salt is needed to clear the ice in the driveway and CCR is taking too long to resolve our problem. We need to shower, flush toilets and ultimately the water bottles are helping to brush our teeth. I do not recommend the CCR. The problem is not the cabin the problem is the handling of the situation...
