Recently purchased a bike from here
Recently purchased a bike from here. At the time the salesman advised that should any work be required under the warranty it could be undertaken by my local garage. Unfortunately I've come to ask for a repair to be carried out under this warranty and they have now decided that they will only undertake any work at their workshop. Given this is a minor repair the cost of travelling the 450 mile to deposit and collect the bike is greater than the cost of having the work done. To clarify on the point made regarding the chain and sprockets, the bike was not fit for purpose, so whilst it may not be covered by the warranty per say, it is covered by the consumer act.
