50/50 chance on what you get…
Their QC and shipping processes needed to be reassessed. I ordered 9 black frames. 3 - 25x17 & 6 - 12x16. From my order 4 frames arrived in less than desirable condition which was a result of poor packing and poor assembly. For shipping: All 9 frames arrived banded together in one big box with minimal protection bound together by poly strapping. They were all smashed together with nothing to protect from rubbing together or to withstand any real transit in a box… Which honestly is disappointing to see “hand crafted custom frames” shipped in such an uncaring manner especially when you pay for shipping. Upon inspection one frame was dented due to over tightening of shipping bands. The other 3 frames were not aligned correctly at assembly and show large gaps between the joints. They said this is “normal” because of warping due to different environments. Which you can very clearly see in person is not the case. Someone was just slapping them together… While they claim to be replacing the dented frame, I apparently now need to paint our new frames to cover the rather large gaps in the joints to hide their production errors because it’s “within their QC standards” … Which honestly is BS. While our photos are still beautiful, I’m just really disappointed in the quality of the frame. We’d had such high hopes and planned to order many more but not knowing what you’ll get quality wise, I’d rather go buy frames I can see that aren’t warped from “temperature and humidity” and not take an almost 50/50 chance something will arrive in poor condition and I’ll be stuck just having to deal with it…
