Failure to update customers during water suspension is unacceptable.
I visited my elderly parents in Upton, Gainsborough on 5/6th Sept. Shortly after arriving the water supply ceased. I reported this via Anglian Waters website (20552362) and was advised we would be updated. No update or explanation provided as to why the water was cut off for over 6 hours. I have a bowel disease so need to use the loo frequently as do my elderly parents. Customer’s need to be kept updated and supported when water supplies are withdrawn, Anglian Water failed to do this and I would like an explanation why so this doesn’t happen again.
