thorough research will save you a headache down the road
Their program lacks a necessary level of efficiency and overall effectiveness. My primary concern was that all learning materials were exclusively online (reading material specifically as it would be understood that instruction and “teaching” would be online). When I expressed that this learning method was not conducive to my success, one of their administrators claimed they would assist in locating hardcopy materials—but no actual support was provided. When I followed up, the response I received was dismissive: “Have you just searched Google?” This response completely undermines the purpose of their role, which is to support students and help ensure their success. After determining that the program was not a good fit for me, I was informed that a credit card payment—which on my end had been successfully processed and confirmed—had somehow been voided. Despite this, it took the institution months to inform me of the outstanding balance. Instead of proactive communication, I received a pre-collection notice. It is unacceptable to allow months to pass without any outreach, only to then resort to collection efforts. A basic level of professionalism would involve confirming payment status promptly and clearly communicating with students via the personal contact information on file. A simple email could have resolved the matter well in advance. In short, the program itself was disappointing, and the billing and payment system was even worse. If they are going to operate in this space, their systems and service need serious improvement—particularly in payment processing, student support, and timely communication.
