Still waiting for the call back they promised in response to my Trustpilot posting...
Since my comments below and the request to send an email with my contact details, where EE publicly promised here they would call me back, they haven't. Direct debit cancelled for very good reasons. I am now receiving threatening letters by email saying my credit record will be dented if I don't get in touch with them and pay what they think is due (and is in dispute). This is after they have said they will be calling me to resolve matters. Guardian has them down as potentially being in financial difficulties. Check out the articles on 16th and 28th December 2018. My latest email to them, for which I have had no response (notwithstanding the seasonal break). "Dear Kara I am now receiving threatening letters from your organisation despite your request via trust pilot for me to get in touch with you, as I have done below. You volunteered a call back to me if I let you have the details below. Your company has been suspect with respect to the meter readings it has presented to me, indicating I am in arrears (which I doubt) but at a time when also it has been noted in the national media you may be entering financial difficulties. It is prudent, therefore, with an open direct debit, to stop your direct access to my bank account. Contrary to the attached email it is NOT my intention not to pay you; quite the reverse as you will be paid all sums due and agreed. However, I now resent such threatening letters and will clearly have to appeal should you mark my credit reference in the circumstances where you have volunteered to call me and I am still awaiting that call. Regards" They have the contact details, they have made their promises, it's up to them. Stay away.
