Well worth the money and time
We did have a pretty good experience working w Maura Connors as our counselor for 2 year. My son got into his dream school UCLA, and WashU, but got rejected by CMU. Maura was very patience working with my son even though he did not follow all of her advices. To be honest, it seems like you would need at least 3 years with Solomon to fully execute their strategy. Also they seem to gear more for students aiming for the Ivy League. Be warned that when you are not in your senior year, correspondences with counselors will be weeks slower. The essays drafting portion was phenomenal. My son was so organized with his college applications and I appreciate how Maura got him to work harder and more methodical. While the service cost with Solomon was on the high side compared to my local college counselors, I felt it was worth it since I was no longer the 'bad cop'.
