Do not deal with them on car purchases
The trust with them in the process of my car purchase in Rome is now completely broken. I am now just trying to get the funds I have sent to them for the full car purchase returned and they are not even replying to the emails any more. I am resorting to this public shaming in the hopes that it will help me get my money back. You have replied and the case continues to be handled in a manner that lacks customer courtesy, professionalism and timeliness. I would warn anyone from dealing with Autotorino. This experience has broken my trust as these procedures are completely muddled and keep shifting as the discussion proceeds. While my own protocol team continues to try to deal with you, I would actually prefer to not proceed as I even suspect that there may be issues with the vehicle being sold. Update from 19 December: This has continued to be the worst experience ever and we got stuck with having to continue with the purchase as I had mistakenly paid in full - they have taken advantage of me and been negligent. Now, the car delivery is botched - they knew they were meant to give me the vehicle today only to realize they did not send the license plate (to be sent separately) in time. This means that they will likely further delay the delivery of my car into January (as I am traveling for holidays). They have invented procedures with additional documents to sign, and gave no idea of the proper procedures for diplomats/UN. The worse 2 months wasted on them not dealing properly with me at any given step. I reiterate that you should not trust them at all.
