Lost money due to Energy Company Administration
I had a issue where the energy company (Bristol Energy) supplying my property went into administration. When I looked into this it said the accounts had been transferred to British Gas. So I went on the British Gas site for the transfer, which said please let existing customers be dealt with first. So I patiently waited (my mistake here) to allow customers in more need get help before I contacted B Gas. B Gas then stated no problem we have your details and you will get your credit. B Gas fed me this story for months until the then decided it was not their responsibility. So I contacted the energy ombudsman after the complaint with B Gas was going nowhere. They first said if the company went into administration you're protected and you will get your account refund. It then seems after they had discussed with B Gas it was not B Gas responsibility but they did not know who's it was and was for me to got the company who dealt with the administration. With all this delaying by B Gas and the Ombudsman this company has closed dealing with the administration. Another one of these waste of time Ombudsman that are no there to protect the customer.
