Exiting of ownership

We owned two wks -1 in July and 1 in Oct. We wanted OUT of both because of age and health. Marriott would "deed back" the wk in July without cost to us and w/o any monetary return. We authorized the Deed back in NoV,2023 and were informed by Cantrell Balbrickram, Exit MGR, that we would received the "closing" papers in 90 days. We authorized the second wk for sales listing and agreed to 1yr for resale. We were quoted a sale of $8600.00 & we would recover 50%. When we were reaching one year time frame, I asked for an update (Nov 18. 2023) Was then advised that the 2nd week had sold in OCT (no notice to us the seller)BUT we must pay the annual maintenance fees for 2024 since the buyer did not want occupancy until 2025. (WHY ??WE ARE NO LONGER THE OWNERS??) WE WERE THEN ADVISED THAT WE ARE STILL THE OWNERS OF WK1!! BECAUSE WE FAILED TOSIGN AND RETURN THE DOCUMENTS SENT TO US. THE DEED BACK WAS CANCELLED ON MAY 5, 2023 We did not received any deed back papers from Marriott, no follow-up to check on the receipt and why not signed, no notice that the process (deed back) would be cancelled. There was no notice that we remained the owners until I inquired in Nov,2023 and requested copies of the closing deed back and notices of the failed transaction. No compliance fromMarriott BUT insteadMarriott sends out a new set of legal documents loaded with all kinds of new requirements including the payment of maintenance fees for 2024 ($1868.51) Next move is to take this up with legal. Mr Balbickram with only communicate by email. If we ask for a phone # for him, he provides a number of a title company. He uses "templates" for emails for legal discussions etc. Bad news
