Appalling management with a complete lack of customer care.
In February 2020 my wife and I were departing Los Angeles for a cruise through the Panama canal to Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Covid was reported as becoming VERY bad and I asked Princess if we could delay the cruise for a while so that we could assess what was happening with Covid. Princess REFUSED to acknowledge the request initially but eventually they said we MUST travel or we would lose all our prepaid money. Over the next couple of days, it was obvious the pandemic was much worse than the media suggested. We felt very relieved that we had not been bullied by Princess into boarding. We later discovered when the ship arrived off the Florida coast it was forced to remain at sea due to an outbreak of Covid on board. Princess REFUSED to return our money and never even apologised. We were long term customers, with 7 cruises and 76 days at sea all over the world. We shall NEVER cruise with Princess again.
