Worst experience ever! incompetent and unprofessional and dangerous to travel with
Worst experience ever! First a 2.5 hour flight delay, after which we were kept locked in the plane for another 3 hours without information about what the technicians who were walking around looking at the plane outside actually have to check up on? - is the plane broken? The plane is disgusting, the seatbacks are gone, there are beetles eating scraps from the floor. No information and communication from the staff. After the confinement, a course of chaos ensues at a transfer desk with incompetent staff - 8-10 people at work, 3-4 sitting at the computers, only one man knew what to do and he was repeatedly interrupted by colleagues and shouting customers. The staff just look dead in the eyes! It took 6 hours before we got other tickets. No offer of a hotel as the hotel at the airport was full and the other they could offer was an hour away.. offer of a measly sandwich and then able to sleep on the chairs at the airport - until we found out we were just rebooked on it already defective flights that were just postponed until the next morning - there was never a gate on that flight - we went in line again and were rebooked to Qatar Airlines departing an hour later - when we flew, there was still no gate on the defective flight ( UL217) - I hope it's gone straight to the scrapyard - it's not safe to travel with. Stay away from this company - it is worth waiting hours and paying more than experiencing the incompetence of this company.
