Tenía en mi cuenta 22.000 euros…

Tenía en mi cuenta 22.000 euros ahorrados. Quería comprar un piso por lo que me piden un cheque de esa cantidad e el Banco que soy cliente de toda la vida me cobra 1200 euros por ese cheque esto es mucho no se si es ilegal o legal?
