Take Order, Give Delivery date then unable to fulfill.

My order No was 0573-70. Ordered on Tuesday 27/08/24 and stated delivery was Monday 02/09/24. Price was around 40% cheaper than Wickes so placed my order and paid as you do. Got to Friday 30/08/24 and no order confirmation recieved so placed a call to customer services. Chap on the phone stated that they could not fullfil order despite the date given when taking payment and customer to please, asked for them to cancel and they did so and refunded in full within 30 minutes of the call. For customer relations they were spot on, the reason for leaving a negative feedback is fairly much the same as everyone else, what company takes an order and states a date, they then tout out your business to a third party in the hope that said third part will fullfill your order, not a great business practice by any means. Like going to tesco and placing an order online only to have asda deliver your groceries. What a strange business practice!
