Wake up everyone
Wake up everyone, Vistana, Sheraton, Marriott Timeshares will drain you financially and emotionally. Our regretful affiliation with Vistana is in its sixth year; and we cannot put an end to it fast enough. We were enticed by a generous offer – a $100 prepaid credit card to be used at Universal that day. This innocent act led us to a high-pressure sales scheme where we were deceived into purchasing a Vistana, what we understand now to be a timeshare. It is important to note that the salespeople repeatedly assured us that they were not selling timeshares! The pressure intensified when a Senior Sales Manager of Sheraton Vacation Club joined the conversation to offer further discounts. Feeling cornered and pressed for time, we reluctantly agreed to the deal, under the inaccurate impression that we could easily sell the property if we changed our minds. Little did we know that this decision would lead to a series of frustrating and disappointing experiences over the subsequent years. From 2018 to 2020, we encountered countless difficulties in finding available destinations. Despite promises of varied and exotic locations, our searches yielded only limited options, mostly centered around Orlando. To salvage our investment, we had to pay additional fees to transfer points to the next year, only to find that the availability issues persisted. Overall, dealing with your company has been a never-ending headache. We have been subjected to hostile sales meetings complete with pushy, rude salespeople who will stop at nothing to ensnare us in whatever scheme they have concocted. This type of behavior is horrendous, and you should be ashamed for allowing and encouraging such blatant deception. Consumers need to be aware that the language used emphasized exclusivity, is simply a lie, this is a timeshare without value past, present or future.
