This is the second time in as many orders that DPD haven't fulfilled their duties properly. This time the driver just left my food in a public space close to an open door to a main road, with the parcel stolen, again. Will they change their courier or impose more stringent rules upon their drivers? Who knows. UPDATE: They offered me my £15-off voucher I had from the first time, but only after I asked what they would do to compensate another failed delivery. I said offering me what I had from the first time around was shocking from a customer service perspective, so they came back with... £25-off voucher (which still has a minimum spend of £30 so really £55 worth of stuff for £30, not really a great way to deal with 3 failed orders 'Spend more, we'll get it right this time'. I had to escalate to a supervisor who said nope, that's all we're giving you, I said no, escalate further. Paige, who had Director in her signature, said it 'was more than fair' - I'm sorry, more than fair? What for me to have to waste hours of my time chasing refunds and drivers who were too lazy to climb stairs; she also had the audacity to say DPD were one of the best - yeah, tell that to my stomach. 3rd of March I ordered my first hamper and I'm still waiting to taste their food! Their customer service is SHOCKING. If they get their finger out and give a decent amount, I'll try again, or how about they offer something for free as compensation to see if they have sorted their delivery problem out? Nah, they wouldn't do that; too many people probably in the same boat as me!
