UT PostGrad Program Data Science and Business Analytics
As someone with no prior experience in coding, the UT Post Grad Program in Data Science and Business Analytics, offered via the Great Learning platform, provided me with a good introduction to the field of Data Science with courses in Python, Statistics, Linear Regression, ML, Gen AI, and SQL. The coursework was rigorous, challenging and structured, with a weekly cadence of learning videos, quizzes, and live learning sessions with an instructor and the cohort. Individual projects also need to submitted for each learning module every 2-3 weeks. The program requires dedicated study time in order to really dive into the learning topics and extract the full value of the learning that is available to you. It is what you make of it. I appreciate the great support from the Program Manager (Prachi) for my cohort. She is there to help students succeed in the program, and in my interactions with her she was always quick to respond to queries, very positive, very helpful, and always very encouraging. I could not have made it through this program without her support. Now, as I finish up the final weeks of this 7 month program, I have a clear sense of the subject areas that I want to study in more depth on my own. With a good foundation in the topics, I look forward to applying what I have learned and to building some hands-on projects of my own.
