Deceptive, Dishonest, and Disrespectful – Avoid Coastal Moving Services at All Costs
Update: Coastal and I resolved this issue. Initial Review: Coastal Moving Services completely misled me. After a full video walk-through where I clearly showed beds with box springs and headboards, my sales rep Victor assured me everything was included. But they only listed “bedframes” and later hit me with a $1,500 upcharge. I had to rent a separate U-Haul myself just to avoid even more surprise fees. Victor also guaranteed a Saturday delivery date in writing. One hour before pickup, I was told it wouldn’t arrive for three more days. When I brought this up, their customer service rep Briana was shockingly condescending. The tone she took with me was unlike anything I’ve ever experienced — completely dismissive, unprofessional, and bordering on hostile. I’ve never been treated that way by any company. It was insane. She pointed to the fine print and claimed nothing was ever guaranteed — ignoring the written proof I had from their own rep. Whether it’s breach of contract or gross misrepresentation, one thing is clear: they blamed me for their lies. Do not trust this company. They’re not just disorganized — they’re disrespectful and deceptive.
