Zamplebox Will Never Change...And That's Bad for Us
Zamplebox, without a doubt, is the absolute worst online retailer I have had the misfortune to deal with. Their lack of commitment to their customers, as well as the overall service (or lack thereof) they provide is appalling and has been for the 2 years I have been patiently dealing with them and their empty promises to improve. They continue to provide a very poor customer experience: extremely slow (a week or more) to respond to inquiries (if they respond at all), unable to assist customers if/when they finally do respond, and late order shipments. The last straw: I placed an order on 1/1, using a 40% discount code I received. The only place to enter the code was off to the lower left of the dashboard, outside the order window. I entered the code and received a message stating I must place an order first. Fine, I added 28 bottles of juice to my cart, anticipating a 40% discount. I looked to ensure the discount was added, it was not. I looked for the discount code box, nowhere in sight. I click Checkout, assuming I will receive the discount box or actual discount when I verify my order. This is the way it works with nearly all retailers' checkout process. But not Zamplebox. Clicking Checkout completed the order and that was that. No discount applied. I immediately sent them an email and chat. I could not call them as they are only open limited hours Monday through Friday. I also attempted to file a service request on their website, the feature didn't work. They never responded to my initial and subsequent email sent several days later. They finally responded to the chat 6 days later, only to tell me they cannot modify an order once it has been placed. However, the agent offered to issue me a 30% discount code I could use on my next order. What? Are you kidding? Issuing me a discount for less than what I was entitled to, on a separate order, when I just placed a very large order, does me absolutely no good. The fact it took them 6 days to reply, only to tell me this, is ridiculous. On top of that, the 30% discount appears to apply to the next monthly subscription box, which is half the amount I spent on the separate order, meaning I would ultimately receive less than half the discount I was entitled to. No thank you! I am tired of dealing with the constant frustration that is Zamplebox. It's just not worth it. For the sake of my sanity and health, I will no longer do business with them. If I continue exposing myself to their appalling customer service and fulfillment process, endless issues, excuses, and empty promises, I am sure they will eventually give me a heart attack or stroke. Cheap juice is just not worth the headache and frustration. Trust me, save yourself the headache and frustration you will no doubt experience and take your business elsewhere.
