Fantastic staff, rubbish automated switchboard and IT
This is a difficult review with a mix of real frustration and also real credit to a couple of individual staff members who went out of their way to help me. Let's start with the negative. At times it can be incredibly frustrating to get through and get any help from Yu. I moved into new business premises, the power was off and I had several days of trying to get help. On numerous occasions it took nearly an hour for the call to be answered, that's really poor service and so frustrating going around in button pressing circles. BUT! When you get to a member of staff they are very very good! A massive thank you to Akeela who went out of her way to personally deal with my problem, she is a credit to the company, and the way she took ownership was really impressive. Also a massive thank you to Hassan Bhimani who sorted me out with a new contract. Again, I had been on hold for ages, and again, he went out of his way to help me, stopping on late and helping me over the following days. Both of these staff are a real credit and in truth the only reason this is not a one star review! Yu Energy, look after your staff, they are golden, and get better at getting the customer through to an actual person! Oh, and make the online portal work, its basically impossible to register for it as a new customer!
