Absolutely nightmare of a company
Absolutely nightmare of a company. I used to order from them quite often but after my last order was delivered yesterday I won’t be doing it again. I have ordered shorts and 2 t-shirts for my son and paid £85 for them. There were meant to be delivered by evri on 25th of June between 1-2 pm, then all of a sudden got an email from evri saying my address is incorrect which is not possible as I paid with Apple Pay and my address gets added automatically to my order. So the order was delivered the next day. As soon as I saw the parcel I knew something was wrong. It was relatively small and all wrapped with sellotape and brown tape too, parcel from JD don’t look like this any other time. It has also had second evri lable placed on top of another one underneath. So I took pictures before I open it as I knew I would have to question this. And my suspicions were right, inside it wasn’t what I have ordered but some pairs of men’s underwear from matalan. Absolute disgrace from the delivery company because I believe that is where the problem is coming from. I contacted jd straight away and the only answer was you need to fill a form for a missing parcel and send it back to us, absolutely no sympathy, no understanding, nothing. and we will look into in 72hours. I paid for something and got ripped off now need to wait days for them to even look at it and expect them to tell me nothing they can do as the parcel was actually delivered, disregarding it wasn’t the items I have ordered inside. I am waiting for the response and if it is what I am thinking I am going to citizen advise and will be looking into protecting my consumer rights.
