Amazing adventure for nature lovers

I just did the Sabah Adventure tour and can't say enough good things about it. This was my sixth Intrepid tour and not surprisingly, it did NOT disappoint. It's why I keep doing tours with Intrepid. This was an amazing tour for the nature lover! Our guide, Aswad did an incredible job of coordinating a complex itinerary. Climbing Kinabalu was definitely the highlight. Although challenging (in a good way!), our mountain guides were so supportive and helpful. Be sure to prepare and train for this challenging but super rewarding climb! Witnessing a turtle laying her eggs and hatchlings being released on Turtle Island was unforgettable. I also really enjoyed staying with a family and learning their ways of life. Some of the accommodations on this trip were basic with shared facilities but everything was clean and comfortable. I would highly recommend this trip for anyone who loves nature, loves to hike and is willing to step a little outside of their comfort zone for an exciting and rewarding experience. I absolutely love Intrepid. These are small group tours that are well-organized, take you to difficult-to-access areas and provide unique experiences. The itineraries are full of unforgettable adventures and I love the focus on environment and supporting local communities. I already have a seventh Intrepid tour booked for later this year.
