Forst for life
We have been using Forst chippers for a number of years now and have always been impressed with the service they offer. The machines themselves are very solid and any problems tend to be electrical, as opposed to mechanical. In my experience these are very often easily resolved, especially through the troubleshooting aid that is available when you call them. On a personal level Forst really showed their colours following a series of series thefts that we experienced a few years ago. We had 6 chippers stolen over a period of a few months and Forst were absolutely amazing. They provided us with a brand new machine immediately along with a hire machine (collected on the day) and could not of been more helpful. It was following on from the Covid pandemic and there was a worldwide shortage of machine parts resulting in long waits for everything - we all remember those dark days! But they really pushed the boat out and did so much to help during this period and were a big part in enabling us to continue trading and rebuild. Because of this they have earned a customer for life in our company. We run ST6s and TR8s all deisels but have used the petrol TR6 and have been impressed with all of them. The TR8 is the pick of the bunch and we'll worth the price tag. Its a beast.
