Stunning #407 Island Winds East
Our stay at Island Winds East was great! We stayed in condo #407....it was beyond beautiful. The building itself is older but didn’t bother us as the room was basically brand new. Check in was at 5 and we did arrive early so we just hung out at the pool. The ladies at the front desk were very kind and told us upfront it could be a little after 5 ...understand with all the extra cleaning that has to be done during these times. Wasn’t going to complain either! We get to the room and it was just as beautiful as the pictures except—we were a little thrown off that they didn’t put the comforters on the bed with all the pillows that gave the room such a cute touch. They were just thrown in the closet and I assure you the owners would not be happy about that since they spent some really good money on all of it!!! Regardless I did it for them and hopefully it got done after we left. Other than that everything was spot on to the pics. Anything and everything you need in a kitchen is in this condo and I mean EVERYTHING. All brand new. The owners went above and beyond with this condo. I’m already trying to figure out when we can go back because I won’t stay anywhere else! Oh and besides the coffee/creamer/teas/laundry detergent/dryer sheets/blow dryer/flat irons/...they also have many different kinds of travel size shampoo/conditioner soaps razors toothbrushes toothpaste makeup remover Kleenex ...I mean EVERYTHING! Oh oh and they have 4 awesome beach chairs that have small coolers on the back of each one as well as beach toys and they have a cooler that you can use and it’s a dang good one! I don’t personally know the owners but I wish I did...they seem to be great people. I promise if you forgot it-they have it there! It was a nice week away and to sit on the patio looking at the ocean every morning while drinking my coffee was amazing. And another oh....they have tons of DVD’s/games and Dish plus free WiFi. Another thing I wanted to mention which I loved being there was an ice cooler. Swipe your card and get however many bags you needed. Over priced yes but worth it because it was convenient...absolutely! We will be back! Soon I hope :)
