Price Guarantee Concerns Update
By way if update to my previous comments Dan’s have now referred the issues I have raised to their Legal Term.They seem to be unable or unwilling to give a straight answer to my simple question whether changes to their Price Guarantee Terms and Conditions preclude me , as on online customer,taking advantage of their policy.I live 75 kms from my nearest Dans in a Regional area where potential competitors are limited.I have over an extended period of time successfully cited a price from a Dan’s competitor in Sydney who offers an onsite retail facility and an Australia wide delivery service for online orders. Any reference to other than in store purchases appears to have been deleted from the Dan’s Terms and Conditions and no one is prepared to confirm if online purchase purchases still qualify for discount and whether click and collect orders can be picked up at a nominated store.Over recent times Dan’s have been inconsistent in their interpretation of the now deleted provisions regarding online orders and whether they could be picked up or had to be delivered. If anyone is encountering similar problems please raise them with Dan’s.
