Stressful registering at the station at NCP Newark Northgate
My first time at NCP Newark Northgate. No barriers and no staff - but stern notices to download app and pay before you catch the train. Lucky I arrived 25 mins before the train. Nowhere to sit, so I put my bags down, seatrch for my glasses, tickets blow away, download the app and then is asks for a verification code from email. No code. 5 mins later I ask for another code. nothing. Nobody to ask or phone. I walk around station and then two codes arrive. Then it requires your card details to register. That then triggers verification from your banking app. And then pay and then go and catch your train. The good news, it was £7.95 for 24 hours which was reasonable. Moral of the review - if you are using it for the first time, then download the NCP app and register at home or risk losing your train with hands full of bags trying to download and verify
