Cigna has the worst customer service
Cigna has the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I provided all the requested documents upfront, including the referral letter, which they already used to give me approval for my treatment. But when I submitted my reimbursement application, they asked me again for the exact same referral letter — a document they already had on file. This shows a complete lack of coordination, professionalism, and basic care for their customers. Instead of supporting patients during critical times, Cigna creates unnecessary obstacles, delays, and frustration. It feels like their system is designed to make the process as difficult as possible rather than to actually help. This experience has left me extremely disappointed and distrustful of Cigna as a company. If you are considering them, be prepared for endless paperwork, repeated requests for the same documents, and zero accountability from their side.
