A nice rental experience
I had no issues with my rental. The shuttle from Auckland Airport came quickly, picking up the car was simple (bring a credit card, not a debit card to make it easier), the agents were friendly and the car worked well. Their fleet is mostly Toyota Aqua (Prius) hybrids. With gas prices at nearly $3 this was awesome getting 4L/100k. I think the car was around 2015 but clean and well maintained. 70,000kms, and they installed a new radio with bluetooth, usb, aux etc. My only complaints would be I wish they were open later - lots of flights arrive/depart later than 6pm. And I'd rather not have the rental branding on the car but it doesn't make a huge difference. I initially booked through a 3rd party website but looking at their website it was a bit cheaper so check that if you're considering booking!
