One star—only because Trustpilot…

One star—only because Trustpilot doesn’t offer zero. Ordered four tires from Autodoc. Delivery 5-7 days not ideal, but acceptable. Quickly, the order status jumped to “Packed – awaiting courier” and then stayed there—indefinitely. And I waited. For days. Nothing changed. The order was still awaiting pickup by the courier. Eventually, I rang customer service. A polite lady whom, I think, plays no role in this dumpster fire of a case, assured me she would “write the warehouse” (Autodoc outsources this bit, I guess) and let me know as soon as she heard back. What finally arrived was not an update but an automated email: “Your order has successfully been canceled.” No warning, no “Would you prefer to keep waiting?”—just an unsolicited cancellation. Evidently “Packed” in Autodoc‑speak means “lost in the void.” To add insult to injury, the refund is anything but prompt. Autodoc casually informs customers that the money will appear sometime soon and, should it fail to materialize, we’re advised to contact our banks. That’s not how e‑commerce works: if you fail to provide and cancel the order, you return the funds—immediately. I still need tires and, inconveniently, Autodoc is busy holding the cash I could use to buy them elsewhere. Bottom line: Autodoc’s inventory appears powered by fortune cookies, and their finance department run by a lone intern with MS-DOS and a dial-up modem. If you need parts on a timeline—or simply expect a seller to honor its own stock updates—look elsewhere and keep your sense of humor handy. Hope this spares someone else the hassle.
