Some good professionals - no recourse for bad ones - outdated website

We’ve been using Fantastic services for a few of our needs. Gardening, house cleaning, upholstery etc. For the most part, they’ve been reliable and the services are not terrible. However, my issues have been when dealing with the website and customer support when things go wrong with their professionals. The website is outdated and doesn’t let you do simple things like adjust recurring visits. You need to speak to a human to do this. Must result in a crazy overhead costs for the company. The website and app often breaks with the only recourse being waiting on hold for 20 mins to perform a simple action. Whenever I have had a poor service, the professional up charged us and didn’t even do the job. We shared photos of the shoddy work with Fantastic and asked for a refund. They agreed with the sub par work but instead of a refund they offered to send another professional to finish the job. We accepted this, but they sent the SAME professional who was DISGRUNTLED about our feedback and left without doing the job he was re-hired to do. At which point we insisted on a refund from Fantasic but they pressed on and sent another professional who couldn’t find our house. We’re now a few hundred pounds out of pocket and Fantastic’s support team is bouncing us around. Not a great experience and going forward we will not be using this service and instead move to Wecasa who have a more modern interface.
