The best foundation I’ve found for a dating business
I’ve been working with SkaDate since 2021, and honestly, I don’t usually write reviews, but this one’s well-deserved. When I started my dating project, Flisk.dating, I looked into building it from scratch - and the numbers were scary. Going custom would’ve easily cost me hundreds of thousands. SkaDate saved me from that. They’ve done a lot of custom work for me over the years - always on time, and sometimes even suggesting stuff I hadn’t thought of. Especially in the last year or so, after the ownership change in 2024, they’ve stepped things up big time. More updates, better plugins - and not just random features, but ones that actually make sense for real dating apps. A recent example that made a huge difference for me - they released a Mixpanel integration. I wasn’t tracking anything properly before, just guessing. Now I can literally see user drop-offs, conversion rates to registration, to subscription - the whole funnel. I finally feel like I can run this like a real business and not just throw features into the void. It’s clear they’re not just devs anymore - they’re building like product people. I’m staying with them as long as they keep going in this direction.
