Disappointed and No Longer Recommend This Company
I have rented cars from this company several times before without any issues. However, my most recent experience was very disappointing and has completely changed my opinion. When collecting the car, I was immediately offered a cleaning package, which I declined. I explained that we take good care of rental cars and have been renting vehicles all over the world for many years without ever needing such a package. We always return cars in good condition and do not believe customers should be responsible for cleaning a car unless it’s returned in an unusually dirty state. This time, we rented a car on a Friday and returned it on Sunday after a short, simple trip from Wrocław to Bolków and back (no children, just two adults). On the morning of the return, the weather was extremely foggy and humid, which naturally left some moisture on the car. Still, the car was in very similar condition to when we picked it up - definitely not dirty, and certainly not excessively so. I recorded videos showing how the car looked before and after the rental. It wasn’t spotless when we picked it up (there were even visible handprints on the inside of the windows), and I strongly disagree with the decision to charge a cleaning fee after such a light and careful use. Despite submitting a complaint and sending videos as evidence, the company claimed they could not open my attachments and dismissed my case entirely, saying I would need to go to court if I wanted to challenge the charge. The way this situation was handled - dismissing my evidence, refusing to engage in proper dialogue, and ignoring my perspective - was extremely unprofessional and unlike any other rental experience I’ve had, even in situations where there was real damage or disputes. Other companies have always communicated respectfully and constructively. Unfortunately, this experience has led me to stop using this company. Even though I travel to Poland frequently, I’ve now chosen a different provider. It’s a shame, but I no longer recommend this company and advise others to be cautious, especially regarding hidden or unfair charges and lack of customer support.
