Trustpilot - serving up David to Goliath
Pro business, not consumer. Trustpilot won't post you review unless it is approved by the business your are reviewing. They act like this is to let both parties tell their side and resolve any complaints - but then that makes TrustPilot a company complaint department. Businesses will cancel your review if they don't receive particular information - in my case a business called JobLeads who only honour your review if you have a customer number. The hitch is that the complaint has to do with JobLeads constantly asking for money which they get by way of selling subscriptions. But it is only through subscriptions that you can receive a customer number which makes it impossible to review against that system. Trustpilot also requests that you give your phone number and email address to these companies so they can continue to harass and pester you. In no way does Trustpilot protect the consumer's information or permit a review without first subjecting the little guy to the legal might and systems of big business - rather the opposite.
