Two Broken TVs, No Refund, and Samsung Told Me I Was Out of Luck

I ordered an 85” Neo QLED TV and soundbar directly from Samsung in February using their First Responder Discount. The first TV arrived completely shattered on March 31. The replacement TV also arrived shattered on April 4. I’ve now spoken to 20+ support agents, including an Executive Case Manager, and still — no refund, no working TV, and no pickup of the second broken one. Samsung kept promising resolution “within 48 hours” for months, then claimed I “missed my return window.” How does someone miss a return window on a broken item that never worked? I’ve provided photos, documentation, and followed every instruction. I’ve now had to escalate to the CEO’s office, the Attorney General, and will soon be contacting my bank to dispute the charge. Meanwhile, a broken 85” TV takes up space in my house. The soundbar is excellent — but it doesn’t matter when the main product is garbage on arrival and the company won’t stand behind their sale. If you’re considering buying direct from Samsung, I’d seriously reconsider. My trust in this brand is completely gone. — Seth F.
