Unfair, Inconsistent, and Frustrating Service
I sold my phone to sala phones expecting a fair process. Instead, they claimed cosmetic damage, refused to provide the battery health or cycle count, and demanded £25 just to return my device; an excessive and unreasonable charge!! I have video evidence showing the phone was in excellent condition, and they have still not provided the battery cycle or health information I requested. The company’s pricing is inconsistent - they stated: “We have just been informed that the good price has changed within the last 15 mins as that price was decided by our manager only 30 mins ago when looking on Compare & Recycle.” Communication has been contradictory and unprofessional throughout. I cannot recommend this company until they improve transparency and fairness in their process. Thank you for your response. For clarity: My phone was sent in excellent cosmetic condition, supported by video evidence. The images you provided do not reflect how the device left my possession. You only provided the battery cycle count (40) after several requests, which raises questions about transparency. Your offer of £160 contradicts your own website valuations (£216 for “Good” condition, £231 for “Excellent”), which customers can verify themselves. The £25 “return fee” is excessive compared to the actual cost of postage, and was not clearly disclosed at the point of sale. I stand by my original review. I do not believe this process has been fair or transparent, and I hope other customers are cautious when dealing with this company.
