Operation with Dr Ceyhun

I arrived at the airport on Sunday 10th September. We had to wait a while for our transport and we were not given a luxury transfer to the hotel as stated, but we were given a private van to the hotel which was fine. On Monday 11th, we went to the hospital where I met my translator Marcos. Marcos was very good at explaining everything and was very patient with my questions and was kind and friendly throughout the process. The pre op was quick and efficient and the operation was done very well. The hospital was also very clean with nice big rooms. The nurses were nice and professional, but would only come into the room to change your drip medication every 6 hours and did not come to check to see if I was ok unless I pressed the call button. When I complained of pain or discomfort they would say “this is normal” and walk off, but there was a language barrier. On the last day where I was leaving hospital Marcos was again very helpful and he has been great through the whole process. Overall the entire experience of having this procedure has been very positive with only a few minor issues. Thank you to all the team!
