I arrived 2 1/2 hours before my Flight
I arrived 2 1/2 hours before my flight. Checked my bag and got a boarding pass. Flight was scheduled to depart at 9:30am. I arrived at the gate at 9am and waited. Saw the display boards and all indicated I was in the correct gate. Then it showed that the flight was delayed until 9:50am. I waited even longer and it was past 10am when I decided to start checking the motioned again, but the flight was no where to be found. Called Czech airlines and they advised that the flight had departed and it was my fault. However they were unable to confirm if the gate changed. They said the next flight would be until 11 hours later. I asked to be booked on it. The customer representative then advised that I would be charged $128, for the missed flight. I advised her I wouldn’t pay for it since it was not my fault. There was no announcement of a gate change, no announcement on the delay nor did they call my name. I would definitely NOT recommend flying with them. Avoid them at all cost. You might pay a bit more with other airlines such as KLM or Lufthansa, but go through them instead of Czech Airlines. If I could give them a zero I would!
