Will Not Resolve Problems, U-Pay Return Shipping For Their Mistakes.
USE EPIC CAUTION! Even when it is their mistake, Epic will try to charge you a restocking fee and make you pay for the return shipping. Ordering From Epic Sports, was an Epic Mistake. I ordered a case of hats from Epic for around $200.00 plus shipping. The hats that I ordered were the same brand and exact model number that I had ordered in the past from a different supplier. When the hats arrived, I discovered that the hats were totally different. Evidently the manufacturer of this item, changed their design, without also changing their model number and size code. Again, I ordered what should have been the same identical, hats. The ones that I received, still had the previous size code, but the interior band size was a large, and not the previous small to medium OSFM as they were still labeled. The interior and head band was also sewn differently. Even if we could tolerate the style difference, the extra large size, made them totally unusable for our purposes. That is unless you like hats that rest on your ears and fall off when you look down. I know that Epic does not manufacture the hats. However one's only recourse is to go back on Epic to resolve the problem. Upon contacting Epic, it was obvious that they did not read your email or care at all about customer service. They have their non-responsive procedure. Regardless of what happened, they automatically send you a return authorization and tell you what all you have to pay to return the items. When I tried to return ship the same box back to Epic, it was going to be right at $100.00 to do so. On top of that, the only way they would wave their huge restocking fee, was if you placed another order with them, for the same original amount, within so many days. And of course one had to pay the shipping for that second order too. I remind you that all of this, was for them shipping me something that was not what I ordered. I never received an meaningful response from Epic that was responsive or even mentioned my issue. It was all self serving procedure. I finally had to file a dispute with my charge card company to overturn the transaction. Evidently, Epic was no better at responding to the charge card company, than they were in responding to me. The charge was reversed, because they did not provide an appropriate response to the charge card company. It took me 2 months to recover my money, but at least I was successful. I hope this review will help others avoid the time wasting grief that I experienced with Epic Sports. Is there anyone out there, with a really big head, that would like to buy some hats? (smiling)
