Jet2 gave no support in medical emergency
After many holidays with Jet2 with no issues we have just returned from a family holiday in Belek and Jet2 gave no support after a serious injury to our 7 year old boy at the hotel. Firstly the human element of customer service has disappeared. Always Jet2’s strong point. To contact them whilst away you use a BOT on Whattsapp now if you don’t have use of phone signal. The BOT cannot assist an emergency, after many attempts it’s just refers you to a post holiday complaint form. In an emergency that is dreadfully poor. My son fell off a piece of equipment in the Kids club and had a 5 inch open wound that needed an urgent hospital visit and 24 stitches. In the end I called Jet2 and someone took the details in a very non caring manner and said a local rep would be in touch. No one contacted us. Absolutely no help, assistance or care from Jet2. I’m shocked to be honest. Something has changed and they don’t care about their customer well being anymore. The team that created and manage their BOT need to be replaced with one that actually understands the guests needs. We have another Jet2 holiday booked for 5 weeks time and I’d cancel had I not paid.
