How Lemonade tricks you
Lemonade prides itself to being new challenger insurer different to the old big corporates. They have sleek app and taking out a policy is very easy and customizable. However don't be fooled by their competitive rates! In a year's time when your policy is up for renewal you will be slapped with 35% price hike when you haven't changed any of your cover limits. When you ask about what is driving these increase you get some waffle with zero numbers to support the increase and then asked if you just want to cancel instead. And so I did. My advice - go elsewhere! Never seen worse customer support and treatment of clients.
