Woeful customer service and billing errors
Been with Alinta for 3 years and no problems until March 2021. Sudden large increase in my usage according to their billing which I queried. After little to no response I contacted the Ombudsman in QLD (EWOQ) - Alinta won't even provide them with information. I believe there is a problem their data providers (smart meter data collection agency) but until the EWOQ can get information from Alinta there is nothing that can be done (EWOQ has no jurisdiction to demand information from 3rd parties - go figure). Alinta has no customer service standards. Run a mile from this company.
