Transparency saved their day
I am a customer from Latin America. Nexo's reaction to my tough questions about the counterparty risk involved in dealing with them has been quick and honest. They have been very transparent and admitted to the weaknesses I had suspected (non Swiss jurisdiction, pooled custody, rehypothecation possible, no PoR, etc.), And it was precisely this openness that gave me the confidence I needed to appreciate the advantages of Nexo's offerings: very attractive interest rates if you are willing to bear the platform risk by purchasing their token, and obvious operational expertise. I think Nexo is viable with conservative LTV (<20%) and the minimal necessary NEXO exposure.
