DON’T USE SELF TEST FOR DIABETES!
I used their service for a diabetes test 18 days ago and have been waiting my results by now as they offer a ‘speedy service. I returned the blood sample promptly in the envelope provided. I took the sample with great difficulty pricking and injuring my fingers in the process. I sent a message a week ago to ask for my results and received a standard reply that it takes time to reach the laboratory. I am disgusted by their service - they are quick to take your money but have no sensitivity towards their customers who may be waiting anxiously, like me for their results. I wouldn’t recommend using this service due to the impracticability of drawing blood. You really would be better off asking your doctor for a test, which I should have done in the first place and get back the results within days. I am giving up hope of receiving my results. Update: 6/2/2025. Just heard back from someone at Superdrug who has now chased my test result to say the lab sheet label wasn’t attached to my test tube so they couldn’t proceed! Shame on Superdrug! The label was crucial and I made sure it was securely wrapped round the test tube prior to posting back the kit box, needles and test tube wrapped in the small white label. I just wish I had taken a photo. The label was obviousiy lost in their lab. Why didn’t they admit it? How did they know it was my testtube if there was no label. And if they knew it was my testtube why didn’t they let me know earlier? Disgusted with this company. Wish I had read these reviews earlier.
