SCAMMERS IN DISGUISE – Mazuma Preys on Honest Sellers
Quoted £150 for my pristine iPhone 12 (64GB, unlocked) — low, but I accepted it for the convenience. Big mistake. Once Mazuma received the phone, they suddenly claimed it had “more than 5 light scratches or is chipped.” Complete nonsense. This phone was in immaculate condition — no chips, no visible scratches, nothing beyond what you’d see straight out of the box. I’ve taken better care of it than they apparently take with their inspections. The worst part? If I disagreed with their fabricated damage claim, I had to pay a fee to get my own phone back. So it’s not really a choice — it’s coercion. They know most people won’t bother with the hassle or the charge, so they slash the offer and keep your phone for less than it's worth. This is not just disappointing — it’s a shady business practice. All i wanted was a fair price. Avoid Mazuma at all costs. Go elsewhere if you want a fair price and honest service.
