Below average customer service

I have rented with Blue Ridge Mountain Rental at least 4 times but I won’t be using them again. The customer service provided was not satisfactory. I felt like they didn’t care about us. When we arrived the driveway was packed with snow and there were 2 large long boxes weighing more than 200 lbs each, occupying the driveway. There was no way to move them without a forklift. We tried to move them ourselves because we needed more space. We had to constantly be rearranging our cars because there was not enough space due to the packages. To make matters worse the house did not have a shovel for us to use. There should have been one accessible. There were no instructions stating we had to bring one. When I called to ask about plowing the driveway and removing the delivery I was told they were short staffed and probably wouldn’t be able to help. No one followed up with me. If they expect people to do their own shoveling they could provide a shovel. The next day, the fusebox was tripped so we needed to reset the breaker. The breakers were behind locked doors. How is this allowed? The temperature was 58F downstairs. We waited over 3 hours for maintenance to call us. We finally got tired of waiting and went searching for the keys. We figured out where the keys to the doors were and successfully reset the breakers. The emails I sent were responded with sorry only. There was no attempt to remedy the situation. This is a million dollar neighborhood. People pay more to stay there and to be ignored is terrible customer service.
