I preordered a £800+ garden furniture…
I preordered a £800+ garden furniture set which was due in on the 15th March. The website informed me that someone would be in touch shortly after to arrange delivery. No one contacted me. Anytime I called I was told the office was closed. Web chat was most unhelpful. Eventually I was able to get an estimated date of arrival into the country but still had to chase that up. After complaining I received 2 calls on the 23rd - 1 to apologise and another to tell me that the furniture was at the warehouse and that I would be contacted within the next day to arrange delivery as a priority due to the companies lack of communication. It was no surprise when I was not contacted. Now I can’t get through on the phone and we chat advise me that I will be phoned within 10 working days. Which is what they keep saying. Shocking communication and customer service from this company and still no garden furniture or idea when/if it will get delivered. Update: 2.04.21 Still no idea of delivery date. Keep getting told that I’ll be contacted to arrange delivery and it never happens. The company keep blaming the courier but they should be sorting it out!! Update 2: we were finally given a delivery date on the 6th - it was supposed to be delivered today. I wasn’t surprised when I received a phone call this morning to tell me that they have messed up the delivery and can’t deliver anymore. I’ve taken a day off work to be home and bow it’s not even going to be delivered. They’ve said they will deliver tomorrow but I am not holding my breath. I will be claiming for a full refund very soon. Eventually I received my furniture £150 out of pocket for the 2 days off work I ended up having to take to actually receive the delivery. I spoke to the company on multiple occasions. I’ve been offered £20 off my next shop (no thanks!), a rattan cleaning kit (no thank you) and eventually a patio heater which I was then told was out of stock. A few weeks ago I randomly received the rattan cleaning kit which I declined. I’m guessing that they are keen for me to take down my review 🤷♀️
