Poor Customer Service and Unorthodox Marketing
I drove in to the Houghton Regis branch about 5 minutes ago for an Eco car wash. Upon requesting for this service offering, the attendant, Rasha inspected the car and recommended a more expensive offering. When I asked why, he said they are only permitted to spend a maximum of 1 minute for their external clean prior to the automated wash and based on the state of the tyres they would need to spend some some more minutes for which they would charge me extra. I asked him for the package for the extra minutes way and he was unable to point it out on their notice board. I then spoke with the Supervisor who identified himself as Elbonet. To my utmost surprise, he justified the explanation of his staff but did not identify the service package on their notice board. I immediately reminded him that due to the proximity of my recent work location I have patronised them thrice but based on this contrived service offering, I am unlikely to revisit. IMO car wash has a standard and name to maintain and I strongly of the opinion that marketing services that are undocumented and unofficial will do a great disservice to the robust image of the business.
